About Me

Taylor

My Story

My name is Taylor, and I know firsthand what it’s like to feel stuck in cycles you don’t want to be in. For years, I wrestled with the weight of unwanted sexual behaviours — the shame, the secrecy, the feeling of living two different lives. I also know the freedom and healing that come from bringing that pain into the light, being fully known and walking with others who refuse to settle for mediocrity.

Through my own journey of healing and recovery, I discovered that the things we’re most ashamed of are often the very places God wants to bring the deepest redemption. The African proverb says, “the wound is close to the blessing.” I’ve seen that to be true in my own life, and I’ve dedicated myself to helping other men experience the same.

My Work

I serve as a Christian recovery coach, walking with men who want more than just sobriety. Sobriety is a starting line, not the finish line. The goal is true freedom — the kind that reshapes your identity, restores your relationships and helps you live with integrity and purpose.

I work with men through one‑on‑one coaching, a 12‑week intensive workshop and an in‑person men’s group in Folsom, California. I am an Unwanted Certified Guide trained in the work of Dr. Jay Stringer, and I have years of experience in story work, breathwork and trauma‑informed practices.

My Approach

We often say in our local group: this should be the safest, most dangerous room you’ve ever been in.

Safe, because we practise grace, vulnerability and confession without fear of judgement. It’s a place to try, to fail, to speak openly and to know you will not be abandoned.

Dangerous, because love tells the truth. Here, we practise conviction and call each other higher. As Proverbs 27:17 reminds us, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another,” and as Ephesians 4:15 puts it, we “speak the truth in love.” We don’t leave each other where we’re at.

My coaching is trauma‑informed and holistic: sensitive to the wounds of men who’ve experienced trauma, spiritual abuse or the effects of purity culture; both maternal and paternal in tone — offering nurture, care and compassion, while also delivering the strength of discipline, truth and challenge; grounded in story work and nervous system regulation practices like breathwork; and always rooted in the truth that wholeness and freedom are found in Jesus, who doesn’t just treat symptoms but restores the whole person.

My Heart

At the end of the day, I’m not interested in quick fixes or surface‑level change. I want to see men come fully alive — not just managing their behaviours, but thriving in the fullness of who God created them to be.

If that’s what you’re longing for, I’d love to walk with you.
